The compact singing comes about a month after the tribe signed a new agreement with Madera County to increase sheriff and fire protection services on Chukchansi lands including the tribe’s casino and the surrounding community. The 25-year agreement allows Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino to operate 3,500 gaming devices - nearly double its current llmit - and includes new terms to support non-gaming tribes and tribes with smaller gaming facilities consistent with tribal sovereignty. The Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians after several years of negotiations signed a new state gaming pact that will allow for the expansion of its Coarsegold casino and protect casino patrons and employees, the tribe announced Thursday. We had to show our license and tell security our room number anytime we left.Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino is off Highway 41 in Coarsegold in Madera County. I just expect more from a resort facility. shower curtain was extremely wrinkly but it was clean so it was not a major concern. No actual comforter, just sheets and small blanket.Room was clean but I wish the soaps were more resort style vs tiny 2-3 ounce bottles. We did wish the breakfast restaurant opened earlier especially since a lot of travelers are coming here for National park visits and you have to leave early.unfortunately we had to get gas station coffee and breakfast since it was not available at our resort at 7a. Having restaurants is very convenient, However you have to enter the casino side to get to them, so again-smoke exposure. We had to call and ask about WiFi and if there were restaurants on site and where. At check in we were not made aware of anything about the resort. Unfortunately that smell leaked all the way up to the third floor where our room was. There should be a separate entrance into the casino so that hotel guests are not subjected to the strong smoke smell. I wish I had done my research before booking this resort and had I known that we wouldn’t have booked here. Immediately upon entering the facility you can smell cigarette smoke coming from the casino and leaking into the hotel lobby. We were disappointed there was not a ramp for the self parking lot for us to carry our luggage up to the entrance so that was our first struggle.
